JUST FOR ONE POST I AM TOTALLY SERIOUS HERE.

I just received an email saying that access to my Bank of America account has now been blocked. It has a link to allow me to 'fix' this problem!

I HAVE NO SUCH ACCOUNT, I LIVE IN CANADA.

It is really clever, looks like the real thing. But the link goes to a site that is not the Bank of America secure site, but a URL that has the address with a subfolder called bank of america in the URL.
Notice the  errors which I will not detail in public, probably comes from a non-english speaking country, so that after they steal your money, your local laws are not within jurisdiction of them.

IF YOU ARE A BANK OF AMERICA CUSTOMER DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY SUCH EMAILS. IF IN DOUBT, GO TO THE BANK WEBSITE SEPARATELY FROM VIA ANY EMAIL LINK  AND ENQUIRE WITH THEM BEFORE 'FIXING' ANY PROBLEM WITH YOUR ACCESS. OR EVEN BETTER PHONE THEM TO CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT DETAILS.

WHENEVER DOING BANKING ONLINE, ALWAYS CLOSE ALL BROWSER WINDOWS AND REOPEN YOUR BROWSER AND PREFERABLY CLEAR COOKIES BEFORE DOING ANY BANKING, EVEN WHEN YOU ARE USING THE BANKS OWN SECURE SITE, AS THERE IS MALWARE AROUND CALLED 'KEYLOGGERS' WHICH RECORD YOUR KEYBOARD STROKES AND SEND THEM TO UNKNOWN RECIPIENTS OUT THERE ON THE INTERNET.
